This was the first time that I try Portuguese food and It was so good. I ordered the poutine plate which comes with juicy chicken and their tasty sauce. I appreciate that the chicken pieces quantity was fulfilling, not just few bites. P.S. I asked for the gravy to be aside. I also tried their Nata, which wasn't the best I've eaten but it was pretty decent. It's definitely worth going back there to try their chicken platters.

Campo is a must if you want to try a Portuguese restaurant in Montreal! The chicken, bread, and fries are insane, and their salads are also so fresh and filling. The location on de Maisonneuve/Peel gets quite busy at lunch because it's so popular, I suggest arriving before noon to avoid the wait - I once waited 30 mins to get food to go but it's always worth it :)

I love the food at Campo!! My colleagues and I are addicted to the Ceasar salad with Piri Piri chicken. It is sooo good. The chicken is juicy, tangy and has the perfect kick. You can add some more with their home-made hot sauce (you can also buy it at the Boutique to bring home, which I so recommend - alongside their sous-vide chicken you can cook on your BBQ). Recently I tried their garden salad with quinoa and the vinaigrette is amazing. The menu is short and well executed. You can order Portuguese wines as well. The place is small and packed during lunch. It can be a little chaotic with the lines to pay/get your food. I don't really like the tables, it feels cramped. It is worse on their super small terrace during summer. That's really my only complain. You can have it delivered with Uber Eats and they even have a catering service that we tried (amazing!!). You need to try!

CAMPO FULLY LOADED BABY . I had such an amazing experience at @campomtl the last time I was there I felt it only right to talk about it again. Honestly their restaurant is even better then the location at @timeoutmarketmontreal if that was even possible! . I couldn't really make up my mind so I had to get a little of everything as you can see here. Starting of course with a traditional Portuguese Chicken Sando. What can I say besides delicious. Great seasoned and marinated chicken really juicy. Homemade fresh traditional bread, fries perfect and crispy 10/10. . Next we have the poutine, the second time I order it and probably not going to be the last! Comes with the chicken of course, Sao Jorge Cheese which was supper fresh and yummy and some chorizo chips for some extra little crunchy bites... Mmmmmmm . Last but not least, probably my favorite to go item not only for health but also for flavour is provably the Taro Protein Bowl. Chicken again, of course, quinoa, cucumbers, black beans, taro chips etc.... Honestly amazing flavours, great dressing to tie it all together and really a must have if u try them out next time! . If your Dt Montreal and need a lunch spot between your work day, this is Ur spot, one of my fav Portuguese spots in the city!

Wow wow wow! I seriously can’t get enough of their salads, they’re absolutely incredible. I always go for the one with sweet potatoes and it never disappoints. The chicken is perfectly juicy and flavourful, I always want to add extra! The dressing has the perfect sweet and tangy balance, and the sweet potatoes are melt-in-your-mouth soft. We also shared a chorizo on the side and it was hands down the best thing ever.

what a lovely atmosphere! My partner and i visited around 7pm on a friday, and there was plenty space to sit! the restaurant seating area is smaller than most restaurants so just be sure to go at a time that isnt too crowded. The servers were very kind to us, refilled our waters, came to check on us. We shared half a chicken ! we chose potatoes and coleslaw and boy oh boy, it did well for the two of us:) The meal balanced itself, the chicken was perfection and flavourful, and the vinegary coleslaw added that missing touch. The potatoes were soft and a little sour, but very much enjoyed. Affordable! 26 for half the chicken!
